A bright bay mare that was raised here on the Grunden Ranch that we have shown for many years. She is a granddaughter of our foundation sire Rimlo Black Prince. The disciplines that she was shown in include Western, English, Pleasure Driving, Carriage Driving, and Youth classes. Kate consistently places amongst the top in Carriage Driving classes even with a youth driving. At a trot, she floats. We laugh and say that she has an extra fast trot which one judge called "It's ten minutes until the store closes and we need a gallon of milk trot". In her show career she has won the Morgan Versatility Award and the Morgan Hi-Point Award many times. She is semi-retired from the show ring and is becoming a brood mare, which produced superb moving foals. Some of Kate's accomplishments include:
